Expression of Interest for Owners Engineer Services for Azeitona Solar PV Plant and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) on Príncipe Island The EPC contract covers a solar PV plant of at least 4.0 MWp; a grid-forming battery energy storage system (BESS) rated at least 3.8 MW with at least 15.2 MWh of usable energy capacity; a 6 kV underground interconnection; rehabilitation of the Ribeira Formiga Switching Station; EMS/SCADA, telecommunications and a control building; and three years of operation and maintenance (O&M). The estimated duration shall be 57 consecutive months from the Notice to Proceed, including the three-year O&M period and assignment closeout. Eligibility, establishment of the shortlist and the selection procedure shall be governed by the African Development Banks Procurement Framework of October 2015, as applicable to the financing agreements.
