Request for proposals for South Africa Leadership and Advocacy Accelerator Facilitation Consultancy Scope of work 1. Curriculum adaptation and preparation Review and adapt Rise Up Togethers curriculum using relevant South African policy contexts, gender equity issues and local advocacy case studies. Prepare detailed participant-centered session plans, edit presentations, and adapt worksheets, handouts and multimedia resources aligned with programme, curriculum, objectives and evaluation tools. Finalise the agenda, session designs, and materials in close collaboration with RUT staff and attend approximately eight (8) regular bi-weekly planning meetings. Identify local experts or panelists as needed and prepare panel questions for three virtual panels. 2. Training and facilitation Facilitate four virtual sessions and the full six-day residential workshop using inclusive, active, and participatory adult learning methods. Moderate interactive panel discussions and provide individual and group coaching on advocacy planning and proposal development. Review assignments and provide constructive written and verbal feedback. Participate in daily debriefs, review participant evaluations and adapt sessions as needed. Support the posting of training materials on Google Classroom. 3. Follow-up and coaching Submit final session plans and materials reflecting the training as delivered. Participate in a final debrief with RUT staff and local trainers, including recommendations for future programming. Provide approximately twelve (12) participants with at least one 30-minute virtual coaching call before 26 May, 2027. Review up to eight (8) draft proposals based on RUTs selection criteria and provide detailed written feedback. Review and score all final proposals for selection using RUTs selection criteria. Recommend areas for continued technical assistance on selected proposals. Deliverables and schedule A fixed-fee payment schedule linked to agreed deliverables will be finalised in the consultancy agreement.
