Expression of Interest for Financial Management Technical Assistant for the Freetown Wash and Aquatic Environment Revamping Project (Washaerp) Overview of the Opportunity The Guma Valley Water Company (GVWC), on behalf of the Government of Sierra Leone, is inviting individual consultants to submit expressions of interest for the role of Financial Management Technical Assistant (TA) for the Freetown WASH and Aquatic Environment Revamping Project (WASHAERP). Date Issued: 20th October 2026 Submission Deadline: 3rd November 2026, at 16:00 hrs GMT Project Funding: Financed by the African Development Fund (ADF) with additional cofinancing being sought from multiple international bodies (including OFID, Kuwait Fund, ISDB, Saudi Fund, GCF, and the Netherlands Enterprise Agency). Core Responsibilities & Terms The Financial Management TA will work in Freetown as part of a multidisciplinary specialist team on a full-time contract for at least 12 months (renewable annually based on performance). Key duties include: Coordinating technical inputs for Annual Workplans, Budgets, and Procurement plans. Maintaining project accounts and handling disbursement/replenishment requests. Keeping all accounting books in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). Reconciling accounts, disbursements, and procured assets.
