Construction Project Management Services – Schützenmatte Facility, Bern Bollwerk, Redesign Of Schützenmatte, Overall Project Management (Gpl). The Subject Of The Tender Is The Awarding Of A Mandate For The Overall Project Management (Gpl) For The Redesign Of The Schützenmatte Via Sia Phases 31 To 53. The Gpl Takes Over The Operational Management Of The Overall Project On Behalf Of The Civil Engineering City Of Bern And Ensures The Targeted Implementation Of The Project Goals From Project Planning To Completion. The Task Of The Gpl Includes, In Particular, The Integral Control Of A Complex, Inner-City Transformation Process. The Schützenmatte Is Characterized By An Extraordinarily High Functional, Social And Political Density. As A Centrally Located Urban Space, It Simultaneously Acts As A Traffic Hub, Meeting Place, Cultural Attraction And Social Hotspot. The Gpl Ensures That The Redesign Takes Place Taking These Complex Framework Conditions Into Account. These Include, In Particular, The Diverse Usage Requirements, The High Level Of Public And Political Attention And The Demanding Integration Into Existing Urban Structures And Processes. Close Coordination With Third-Party Projects Is Also Of Central Importance. In Particular, There Are Significant Dependencies On The Future Station Bern (Zbb) Project, Which Requires The Space For Several Years And Has A Significant Influence On The Timing Of The Redesign. Interfaces To Other Third-Party Projects (Including Traffic Regimes, Parking, Adjacent Street Areas Such As Hodlerstrasse, Developments In The Eilgutareal Area) Must Also Be Continuously Coordinated. The Gpl Ensures That These Dependencies Are Identified, Coordinated And Integrated Into Project Management At An Early Stage. The Gpl Acts As A Central Hub Between The Building Owner, Administrative Units, Political Committees, Security Bodies And External Actors. It Ensures Coherent Project Management And Ensures That The Transformation Is Developed And Implemented In A Technically Sound, Politically Viable And Socially Compatible Manner. The Detailed Tasks And Services Required By The Gpl Are Explained In More Detail In The Service Description (Appendix 01). The Client Assumes A Total Of 8,000 Hours For The Duration Of The Mandate.
