Town Of Kentville (The “Town”) Is Seeking Proposals From Qualified Investment Management Firms (“Proponents”) To Provide Investment Management Services For Its Special Reserve Fund, Which Currently Holds Approximately $15 Million In Assets. The Town Requires A Proponent That Can Manage The Fund Prudently In Accordance With The Town’S Investment Policy, Applicable Legislation And Regulations, And Operational And Capital Funding Needs, While Maintaining The Required Minimum Reserve Balance Of $10 Million. The Selected Proponent Will Be Expected To Preserve The Real Value Of Existing And Future Financial Assets, Generate Annual Investment Returns To Support The Town’S Income Distribution And Cash Flow Requirements, Maximize Returns Within Accepted Risk Tolerance Levels, And Operate Within The Parameters Of The Town’S Investment Policy Which May Change From Time To Time.
