In The Mpv-50 (Multi Purpose Vessels) Project, Two New Vessels Are Being Built And Delivered, With Flagging As Their Main Task. In Addition, The Vessels Will Be Used For Incident Response, Measuring Ecology, Supplying Platforms And The Coast Guard Has A Right Of Withdrawal On The Two New Vessels. The Vessels Will Be Equipped With A Sustainable Energy Supply, Based On Dual Fuel Methanol Engines And A Battery Pack. With The Commissioning Of These Two New Vessels, The Three Existing Vessels Rotterdam, Terschelling And Frans Naerebout Will Be Replaced.
