On All Three Islands, Year-Round Residents Benefit From Maintained Public Services. By Nature, Islands Require The Implementation Of Specific Means To Ensure Their Service And Guarantee The Principle Of Territorial Continuity To Islanders And Regular Users. The Search For Efficient Means Of Transport And Prices That Facilitate Mobility Is Therefore A Requirement, Whether It Involves Transporting Passengers Or Goods. Despite The Presence Of A Large Population On The Island Of Porquerolles And The Strong Tourist Attractiveness, Private Service Is Insufficient To Ensure Service To The Islands Throughout The Year, Particularly In Low Season.
