Wigan Council Would Like To Appoint A Contractor To Carry Out The Refurbishment Of Leigh Market Hall.The Scope Of The Scheme Includes: Infrastructure Improvements, Particularly To The Roof, Heating, Lighting And Ventilation; Introduction Of Public Toilets; A New Entrance From Albion Street To Provide More Visibility And Profile; A Flexible Social Space To Be Used For Events To Animate The Market; Changes To The Internal Layout To Improve Legibility; And Complete Internal Redecoration Including Stalls, Signage And Branding.The Contractor Will Be Appointed Under A Standard Jct Pcsa To Deliver A Riba Stage 4 Design Pack And Contractors Proposals. The Contractor Shall Take Responsibility For The Completion, Coordination And Construction Of All Design Elements Necessary For Delivery Of The Works.
