Works For Complete Or Part Construction And Civil Engineering Work – Epfl - Entreprise Totale - Sanitation And Looping Of An Industrial Water Network, Including Creation Of A Hydraulic Decoupling Station At The Edge Of The Lake To Combat The Spread Of Quagga Mussels. The Contract Concerns The Study And Construction As A Total Contractor Of The Following Parts Of The Works: 1. New Decoupling Station (Sdd) Including The Hydraulic Adaptations In The Pumping Stations (Spp), The Spp And Sdd Connection Pipes And The Discharge Pipes To The Lake Between The Sdd Building And The Inspection Chamber For The Interface Of The Ccu/Sdd Pipes. 2. New (Land) Sdd-Pdr Connection Pipes To The Pdr Redistribution Station, Including The Creation Of A New Pump Room In The Current Parking Lot In The Basement Of The Epfl Bs Building. 3. Renovation Of The Distribution Network In The Epfl Galleries From The Pdr Substation To The Various Substations Specific To Each Campus Building, Including The New Return Pipe And Hydraulic Adaptations To The Cct. The Total Company Will Be Involved From Phase “32. Work Project” To Phase “53. Commissioning, Completion”. The Trigger And Primary Objective Of The Project Is Protection Against The Proliferation Of Quagga Mussels In Our Pipes And Securing The Cooling Network. However, The Dilapidation Of The Pipes As Well As Our Current Cooling Capacities Lead To A Global Reflection On The Future Of The Entire Epfl And Unil Site In Ecublens. Therefore, The Project Includes The Three Objectives Below: 1. Total Protection Of The Cooling Network Pipes Against The Proliferation Of Quagga Mussels, Thanks To Hydraulic Decoupling And A New Closed Loop Network. 2. Increase In Cooling Capacities To Meet Future Needs Due To New Buildings And Increased Demand From Existing Buildings. 3.
