Tenders are invited for Trainer-Fragrance and Soap Production. Closing Date: Thursday, 17. Sep 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Development Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 2 months The SERA Project (Socio-Economic Resilience for Action) is a Project implemented by DPNA Development for People and Nature Association through the WPHF Fund from UNDP in South Lebanon to support vulnerable women and young women, and host communities affected by the ongoing humanitarian and economic crisis. The project combines emergency response with early recovery and resilience-building approaches to address the growing social, psychological and economic needs resulting from displacement, instability, and limited livelihood opportunities. Implemented across areas including Saida, Tyre, Nabatieh, and Marjeyoun, SERA focuses on strengthening womens socio-economic resilience through vocational training, Self-Care Training, Sphere Standards Training, and cash-for-work opportunities. The project also supports the establishment of women-led community committees linked to municipalities and local response structures to enhance participation in community decision-making and local peacebuilding efforts. Through a humanitarian-development-peace nexus approach, SERA aims to reduce vulnerabilities, strengthen social cohesion between displaced and host communities, and empower women and youth to play an active role in recovery and community resilience. The vocational training will focus on strengthening participants practical skills through training in fragrance and soap production, product preparation, and packaging. Based on the needs assessment survey conducted with participants, fragrances and soaps production was identified and selected as a priority training need. The training therefore aims to respond to participants expressed interests and equip them with practical skills in producing basic fragrance and soap products. Through interactive demonstrations, practical exercises, group activities, and hands-on practice, participants will learn how to: Develop basic skills in producing fragrances and different types of soaps. Identify and safely use the tools, equipment, raw materials, and ingredients required for fragrance and soap production. Understand basic formulations, measurements, mixing techniques, and production processes. Apply appropriate hygiene, safety, and quality-control practices during production. Properly package, label, and store fragrance and soap products. Identify and use appropriate materials and equipment for fragrance and soap production Practice producing simple fragrance and soap products through hands-on activities. The workshop will be delivered at DPNA office in Saida over six days (9:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m.) starting end of September till Mid-November 2026 and will target 20 women participants aged 18 years and above from different age groups and backgrounds in the Marjeoun Committee. By the end of the training, participants are expected to: (a) Explain key concepts and techniques related to fragrance and soap production. (b) Demonstrate basic skills in safely using the tools, equipment, raw materials, and ingredients required for fragrance and soap production. (c) Apply practical techniques for measuring, mixing, producing, packaging, labeling, and storing basic fragrance and soap products while maintaining appropriate hygiene and safety standards How to apply nterested candidates should submit a proposal outlining their approach to the evaluation, a detailed work plan, CV, examples of similar work, and a proposed budget.
