The Scope Of The Procurement Consists Of A Total Of Three Preliminary Studies (Maximum 7,000 Euros Per Study), Which Serve As A Basis For The Preparation And Planning Of The Larger Future Work. The Preliminary Studies Are Also Used In Maintaining And Developing The Situational And Development Picture Of The Regional Development Of South Karelia. The Procurement Will Be Carried Out In Three Surveys, Which Will Be Evaluated Separately (By Theme). Surveys Can Be Chosen To Be Carried Out By One Operator Who Offered All The Surveys, Or Each Survey Can Be Chosen To Be Ordered From Different Operators. Preliminary Surveys Are Obtained From The Following Themes (Examples Of The Desired Content Under The Title): 1. Theme: Population And People (Human And Social Capital) • Population Structure And Development Expectations • Population Well-Being And Differences In It, Development Trends • Service Needs And Responding To Them • Importance Of Migration And Immigration (Internal And External) 2. Theme: Livelihoods And Know-How (Industrial And Productive Capital) • Business Structure And Its Development Picture / Diversification • Demand And Supply Of Know-How • The Role Of Technological Development • Accessibility 3. Theme: Environment And Nature Theme (Ecological Capital) • Development Of The Natural State And Perspectives Affecting It • Consumption Of Natural Resources And Side Flows • Climate Risks And Adaptation To Them In Different Industries The Aim Of Preliminary Studies Is To Produce Especially From South Karelias Point Of View, Appropriate And Applicable Information About What Development Looks Like In Each Theme. Particularly Valuable Is Creative Expertise, Identifying And Proposing New Perspectives As A Basis For Further Work. The Result Of The Investigation Is A Concise Report And An Expert Presentation That Opens Up The Topic, Which Will Be Agreed Upon In More Detail With The Bidder.
