Museum Construction Work – Repair And Modernization Of The Papapetrou Tobacco Warehouse Building In Agrinio For The Creation Of A Timeless Museum And Cultural Space. The Building Of The Former Tobacco Warehouses Of Papapetrou In Agrinio, Which Has Been Designated As A Historical Monument And In Need Of Special State Protection, Is To House The Timeless Museum And Wider Cultural Uses (Cultural Space), As Described In The Approved Building Program And The Approved Application Study. The Property, Which Came Into The Ownership Of The Ministry Of Health, Concerns A Four-Story Building With Mezzanines (Lofts) And A Semi-Basement, Which Was Built In The Interwar Period, With A Total Area Of ​​Approximately 7,450.00 M2 And A Surrounding Area Of ​​Approximately 2,650.00 M2. The Physical Object Of The Project Concerns Building And Electromechanical Works For The Adaptation Of The Preserved Monument, With The Aim Of Creating The Timeless Museum And At The Same Time Restoring And Highlighting It As A Monument. In Particular, The Project Concerns The Upgrading Of The Existing Structural And Structural System Of The Building, Its Energy Upgrade, The Remodeling Of Its Interior Spaces In Order To Satisfy The Uses Of The New Museum And The Cultural Space Foreseen By The Building Program, The Integration Into The Building Of The Necessary Electromechanical Installations For The Support And Proper Operation Of The Intended Uses, As Well As Ensuring Accessibility For The Disabled In All Its Spaces, Internally And Externally. The Implementation Of The Project Is Estimated To Contribute Decisively To The Creation Of A Contemporary, Functional, Energy-Efficient And Fully Accessible Museum That Will Actively Participate In The Social Life Of The City, Highlighting Its History And Cultural Identity.
