Project: Tender22080 - For The Supply, Delivery And Installation Of One (1) Gas Chromatograph Tandem Mass Spectrometer System For The Analysis Of Dioxins . Rfb For The Supply, Delivery And Installation Of One (1) Gas Chromatograph Tandem Mass Spectrometer System For The Analysis Of Dioxins For The Ministry Of The Environment, Conservation And Parks Scope Of Work The Objective Of The Deliverables Is For The Vendor To Supply, Deliver And Install One (1) Gas Chromatograph Tandem Mass Spectrometer (Gc-Ms/Ms) System For The Analysis Of Dioxins In Environmental Samples. The Ministry Requires A Gas Chromatograph Tandem Mass Spectrometer (Gc-Ms/Ms) To Analyse Environmental Samples For Dioxins. The New Gc-Ms/Ms’ Will Be Used To Replace Existing Aging High Resolution Mass Spectrometry Systems Currently Used For The Analysis Of Dioxins To: A) Support Analysis Of Dioxins In A Variety Of Sample Matrices (Including Surface Waters, Vegetation, Waste Waters, Sewage, Leachate Extractions, Toxicity Characteristic Leachate Procedure Extractions, Ground Waters And Drinking Waters) To Support Abatement, Inspection, Enforcement, And The Analysis Of Emergency Samples; B) Support The Enforcement Of Ontario Regulation 169/03, Ministry’S Drinking Water Source Protection Program, Sewage And Water Inspection Program, Drinking Water Surveillance Program, The Great Lakes Monitoring Program, Ontario Pesticide Act To Protect Pollinators, And The Analysis Of Emergency Samples; And C) Support The Development Of New Analytical Methods For Dioxin Analysis In A Variety Of Water, Waste Waters And Solid Matrices (Vegetation And Soil) To Facilitate The Development Of New Guidelines/Regulations In Ontario.
