Filtering Apparatus – Technology Of Drying Process Gas With So2 Content Ii. The Subject Of The Order Is The Design, Production, Delivery And Transfer Of Technology For Drying Wet Process Gas Containing Sulfur Dioxide. The Technology Will Be Based On The Two-Stage Removal Of Moisture From The Process Gas. In The First Stage, The Process Gas Will Be Cooled In The Condensation Section In Order To Condense A Substantial Part Of The Contained Water. In The Second Stage, The Remaining Moisture Will Be Removed By Absorption Drying In A Packed Drying Tower, Where The Gas Will Be Directed Countercurrently Against Circulating Concentrated Sulfuric Acid. Sulfuric Acid Will Ensure The Absorption Of Water Vapor From The Gas. The Acid Concentration Will Be Maintained By Replenishing 98% Sulfuric Acid And Withdrawing Sulfuric Acid With A Target Concentration Of 96.5 Wt. %, Diluted With Water Absorbed From The Process Gas. The Technology Will Be Delivered As Two Pre-Assembled Skid Units: • Condensation Skid, • Drying Tower Skid. The Delivery Of Skids Will Include Technological Equipment, Pipes, Fittings, Instrumentation, Supporting Structures, Cabling And Electrical Connections In The Scope Of Skid Units, Technical Documentation And Professional Support During Commissioning.
