Medical Consulting Services Follow Solicitation .Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City Independent School District (Scuc Isd) Is SolicitingProposals From Qualified Firms, Vendor Teams, And/Or Integrated Vendor Platforms To Provide Consulting AndCoordination Services To The District And Certain Plan Participants Regarding Potential Financial Assistance ForMedical Expenses, Including Pharmacy Expenses And Other Related Expenses For The District’S 2027 Plan Year.In This Context, “Participant” Means A Current Scuc Employee Or Covered Dependent Enrolled In The District’SSelf-Funded Group Medical Plan, Or A Former Employee Or Qualified Beneficiary Participating In The District’SCobra Program.The District Has Retained Masonry Health As Its Independent Strategic Healthcare Advisor For The Employee MedicalPlan. Masonry Health Provides Advisory Services To The District In Areas Including Strategic Planning, Claims AndFinancial Analysis, Vendor Evaluation And Management, Pharmacy Benefit Strategy, Stop-Loss Strategy, CostcontainmentInitiatives, Governance And Reporting, Implementation Planning, And Other Related Healthcare BenefitRecommendations.Respondents Should Understand That Masonry Health Does Not Serve As The District’S Third-Party Administrator (Tpa),Pharmacy Benefit Manager (Pbm), Insurance Carrier, Broker Of Record, Claims Administrator, Or Plan Administrator.Rather, Masonry Health Functions Solely In An Advisory Capacity To Support The District’S Decision-Making Process.The Selected Respondent’S Contractual Relationship And Obligations Shall Be Exclusively With The District.
