Tenders are invited for Events Management Consultant / Firm to Organize 2 Regional Apple Festivals. Closing Date: Friday, 21. Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Agriculture Project Background: The Rene Moawad Foundation is currently implementing the Strengthening Rural Development in Lebanon project funded by the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID). The projects main aim is to create a new, more equitable and resilient production system in the apple value chain both at the individual level (small-scale agricultural producers) and collectively (through cooperatives). The project is being implemented in 7 villages: Bcharre, Blawza, Kferzghab, Ehden, Ainata, Barqa & Deir el Ahmar. Objective: RMF is seeking to recruit an events management consultant / firm to organize 2 regional apple festivals during apple harvest season (early September 2026). The aim of the festivals is to highlight the apple value chain in the targeted areas in general and to contribute to the exposure and visibility of apple producers and MSMEs involved in the project in particular. The events main aim is to promote alliances, promote apples in the market and raise consciousness about the role of agriculture in the apple value chain. Scope of Work: The contracted event management firm will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and implementation of the Apple Festival aimed at promoting local apple production, supporting farmers and agro-food producers, and attracting visitors to the area. The firm will ensure the efficient organization of the event within the available budget and in close coordination with the project team and local stakeholders. The key responsibilities include: 1- Event Planning and Coordination Prepare an event implementation plan and timeline. Coordinate with the project team, local authorities, and stakeholders. 2- Venue Preparation and Logistics Arrange the setup of the festival venue including tents/booths, tables, chairs, signage, and basic decoration. Ensure logistical arrangements such as electricity, waste management, and general site organization. 3- Vendor and Exhibitor Coordination Coordinate the participation of local farmers, cooperatives, and food producers. Allocate booths and facilitate vendor setup and participation. 4- Program and Activities Organize and manage festival activities such as product tasting, cooking demonstrations, cultural performances, and family-friendly activities. 5- Communication and Promotion Support the promotion of the festival through social media, posters, and local outreach. 6- On-site Event Management Oversee the smooth running of the event, including coordination of vendors, performers, and volunteers. 7- Reporting Submit a brief post-event report including photos, estimated attendance, activities conducted, and key lessons learned. Submission: 1. Technical ProposalA brief proposal describing: Proposed approach and methodology for organizing the Apple Festival Proposed event concept and activities 2. Financial ProposalA budget outlining all expected costs related to the organization of the event, including logistics, equipment, coordination, and management fees. 3.
