Expression of Interest for Timor Wind Project - Technical and E&S Consultant The Government of Timor-Leste has committed to developing wind energy as part of its energy transition plan to expand its renewable energy generation. As part of this commitment, it has committed to undertake a full assessment of the feasibility of developing a 50MW wind power project across two identified sites. The sites have been selected based on a pre-feasibility study supported by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), which included screening and an assessment of multiple candidate sites. The International Finance Corporation (IFC) is supporting Eletricidade de Timor-Leste (EDTL), under the Ministry of Public Works (MoPW), with the project planning, preparation and implementation. As part of this engagement, IFC is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced consultancy firm to undertake technical due diligence activities and an E&S scoping study. These studies will be used to understand and assess the project risks and viability, input into the transaction structure, and ultimately inform the preparation of the bidding documents and tender process to select an Independent Power Producer (IPP).
