The Physical Object Of The Act, Which Will Be Implemented By The Technology Transfer Units/Offices (Mmt/Gmt) Of The Academic Institutions National And Kapodistrian University Of Athens (Ekpa), Democritus University Of Thrace (Dpth), University Of Crete (Pk), Polytechnic Of Crete (Polk), Hellenic Open University (Eap), University Of The Aegean (Pai), Harokopion University (Xp), And Foundation Of Medical Biological Research Of The Academy Of Athens (Iibeaa) Members Of The Technology Bridge Network, With The Coordinator Of Ekpa And Specifically The Office Of Technology Transfer Of The Center For Innovation And Entrepreneurship Archimedes (Gmt/Archimedes), Includes The Organization, Implementation, And Financing Of Technology Transfer Actions For The Members Of The Network And Their Researchers/Members. The Proposed Technology Transfer Actions Concern: -Protection And Management Of Intellectual Property (Ip) Rights From The Results Of The Research Carried Out By Researchers Of The Members Of The Network. -Commercial Exploitation Of Ip Rights Of Members Of The Network. Organization And Operation Of The Structures. For The Organization, Coordination Of The Actions, And Their Individual Implementation, It Is Necessary To Staff The Mmt/Gmt Of The Network Members With New Specialized Staff, As Well As With Regular And Temporary Staff That Already Staff The Structures For The Overall Coordination, Monitoring, And Implementation Of The Action And The Individual Sub-Projects. In Addition, Gmt/Archimedes Will Appoint A Staff Member Who Will 1) Support The Coordinators Responsibilities As Stated In The Invitation, 2) Be The Point Of Contact For The Network Members Regarding Their Needs In Matters Of Preliminary Research, Legal Advice, Gathering Data For Market Studies, And 3) Support The Coordination Of The Organization Of Informational/Educational And Outreach/Promotional Events Technologies And Technoblasts Of The Members Of The Network. For Each Member Of The Network, The Development Of The Necessary Means Of Communication Is Foreseen, As Well As The Development Of A Website And A Common Platform For The Promotion Of Technologies And Technoblasts Of All Members Of The Network. Training And Education Of Technology Transfer Office Executives And Academic Staff. For Mmt/Gmt Executives, Their Participation In International Professional Associations, In Conferences/Exhibitions And Educational Seminars Is Foreseen, As Well As The Making Of Visits To Third Parties, With The Aim Of Training In Matters Of Technology Transfer In Order To Improve The Services Offered. At The Same Time, The Mmt/Gmt Will Organize Specialized Seminars For The Systematic Training Of Their Researchers.
