Research And Development Services And Related Consultancy Services – Fe 08.0283/2026/Bcg - Influence Of Different Akr Test Cement Batches On The Statistical Distribution Of Strains In The Rapid Testing Method With Different Aggregates. Fe 08.0283/2026/Bgb - Influence Of Different Akr Test Cement Batches On The Statistical Distribution Of Strains In The Rapid Test Method With Different Aggregates To Prevent A Concrete-Damaging Alkali-Silica Reaction (Akr) On Concrete Pavements, A Road Construction-Specific Expert Regulation In Accordance With General Circular Road Construction (Ars) No. 04/2013 Is Currently Used. The Rapid Test Procedure According To Tp-Beton-Stb 1.1.11 Or The Rapid Mortar Test According To Tp-Beton-Stb 1.1.12 Serve As Preliminary Tests. These Processes Enable The Rock Grains To Be Monitored With Regard To Any Changing Alkali Reactivity As Mining Progresses In The Natural Quarry Or Gravel Works. A Uniform Akr Test Cement Cem I 32.5 R Was Previously Required For Both Test Procedures And Is Administered By The Association Of German Cement Works (Vdz). Since This Cement Has No Longer Been Available In Germany Since The End Of 2024, All Testing Institutes Will Have To Switch To An Existing Cem I 42.5 R In The Future. However, Initial Comparative Tests At The Vdz And At The Tu Hamburg/Harburg Have Shown That Different Results Are Achieved With The Cem I 42.5 R In The Rapid Test Procedure Than With The Earlier Delivery Batches Of The Cem I 32.5 R - The Test Results Are Therefore Not Directly Comparable. The Research Project Aims To Investigate The Influence Of Different Akr Test Cement Batches On The Statistical Distribution Of Strains In The Rapid Testing Process With Different Aggregates (Akr Reference Aggregate From The Vdz And Chippings). Researching The Influence Of Different Akr Test Cement Batches Enables The Identification Of Specific Cement Properties That Significantly Determine The Expansion Development In The Rapid Testing Method And In The Rapid Mortar Test. On This Basis, Binding Requirement Criteria Can Be Defined For Future Batches Of Test Cement In Order To Minimize Fluctuations Between Different Batches In The Future.
