Tenders are invited for External Auditor to Conduct a Statutory Audit of its Financial Records and Operations for the Fiscal Year Ending December 31, 2025. Closing Date: Saturday, 15. Aug 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Advocacy & Awareness, Citizenship, Disability, Indigenous People, Labor & Livelihoods Remuneration range: 1000 to 2000 (USD) Duration of Contract: 3 Months Karama Humanitarian Association is a local, non-governmental, non-profit organization registered in Lebanon under license number 1167. The Association is concerned with empowering vulnerable and marginalized communities in society, with its headquarters in Baalbek, Ghafra neighborhood.As part of its commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance, Karama Humanitarian Association seeks to engage an independent external auditor to conduct a statutory audit of its financial records and operations for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2025. The primary objective of this assignment is to conduct an independent audit of the Associations financial statements and operations for the fiscal year 2025. Specifically, the audit aims to: 1. Express an Independent Audit Opinion: Issue an opinion on whether the financial statements present a true and fair view of the Associations financial position in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), which are adopted in Lebanon under Ministerial Decree No. 1/6258 , and applicable Lebanese laws . 2. Verify Compliance: Assess the Associations compliance with: Lebanese laws and regulations, including Law No. 364/1994 . The Associations internal policies and procedures. The terms of any grant agreements or funding contracts in effect during the fiscal year. 3. Evaluate Internal Controls: Review and assess the effectiveness of the Associations internal control systems for financial management and reporting, identifying any weaknesses and recommending improvements . 4. Provide a Management Letter: Produce a management letter highlighting significant findings, internal control observations, and practical recommendations for corrective action . How to apply Interested and qualified auditors are requested to submit a technical and financial proposal including: A cover letter expressing interest and suitability. A detailed technical proposal outlining the understanding of the ToR, proposed methodology, work plan, and team composition (with CVs). A financial proposal with a breakdown of professional fees and any applicable taxes (in USD). A copy of the firms registration/license and LACPA membership certificate( If Applicable) At least two references from previous clients (preferably NGOs) for similar assignments.
