Alternatively, Equivalent Proof From The Manufacturer That The Server Type Offered Is Supported By A Current, Generally Available Linux Distribution In Productive Server Operation Is Permissible. B) Software: Any Necessary Proprietary Drivers And Software Must Be Able To Run Under Linux And Be Included In The Delivery. The Licenses For Drivers And Software Required For This Must Be Supplied Free Of Charge For At Least 10 Years With An Unlimited Number Of Users. An Operating System Does Not Need To Be Preinstalled. The Advertised Server System Will Be Installed In The Server Room Of The Main Building Of The Media Faculty (Bauhausstr. 11, 99423 Weimar). For Connectivity With The Existing 10G Ethernet Switch System (Cisco Nexus 9000 Series), Cat7 Rj45 Ports Are Available On Patch Panels In The Rack. The Systems Must Be Installable In A Standardized 19-Inch Rack Width. Cooling Takes Place Via A Closed Cold Aisle. Water Cooling Is Not Possible.
