Railway Construction Works – Execution Of Works Related To The Project Rehabilitation Of The Railway Line Ploiesti Triaj - Focșani, Stage I, Light Modernization, Section Ploiesti Triaj - Valea Călugărească. The Ploiești Triaj - Focșani Railway Line Is Part Of The Corridor Of The Three Seas (Baltic Sea, Black Sea And Aegean Sea) And Is Located Within The Radius Of Prahova County. Administratively, The Ploiesti Triage - Valea Călugărească Section, Which Is The Subject Of This Documentation, Is Located Within The Radius Of The Regional Branch Of Cf Bucharest - Cncf Cfr Sa. The Main Expected Objectives Are • Increasing Traffic Safety; • Reducing Travel Time By Increasing Traffic Speed On The Entire Section; Improving The Safety Conditions Of Railway Traffic; • Improving Comfort During Travel; • Reduction Of Pollutant Emissions And Negative Impact On The Environment; • Optimization Of Cross-Border Railway Transport For Both Passengers And Goods: • Increasing The Attractiveness And Accessibility Of Municipalities In The Areas Adjacent To The Railway; • Attracting Investors And Capital In Order To Develop The Business Environment, Considering The Fact That Economic Activities Are Carried Out In Neighboring Cities; Ensuring A High Degree Of Mobility And Accessibility For Residents And The Business Environment Of The Counties They Cross. • The Total Estimated Duration Of The Contract Is 86 Months, As Follows: • The Duration Of The Activities Preceding The Start Order Is 1 Month From The Signing Of The Contract. • The Estimated Duration Of The Works Execution Is A Maximum Of 23 Calendar Months From The Issuance Of The Commencement Order. • The Estimated Duration For The Completion Of Reception At The End Of The Works Is 1 Month From The Date Of The Notification By The Contractor Of The Completion Of The Works. It Will Be Possible To Carry Out The Reception At The Completion Of The Works Only If The Following Conditions Are Cumulatively Met: • The Works Have Been Completed In Accordance With The Provisions Of The Contract; • The Works Passed The Tests On Completion. • The Defect Notification Period Is A Minimum Of 60 Calendar Months From The Beneficiarys Approval Of Reception Upon Completion Of The Works. During This Period, The Contractor Will Be Responsible For Remedying Any Defect And Any Damage To A Part Of The Works That May Occur Or May Occur During The Warranty Period And Which: • Results From The Use Of Defective Equipment Or Materials, Errors In The Contractors Documents Or Improper Commissioning; And/Or • Results From Any Action Or Lack Of Action By The Contractor During The Warranty Period. • If Such Defect Occurs Or Such Damage Occurs During The Warranty Period, The Supervisor Or The Beneficiary Shall Notify The Contractor Of Such Defect Or Damage. The Notification Will Indicate The Reasons Why The Contractor Is Responsible For The Defect Or Damage. • During The Warranty Period, The Contractor Shall Not Be Responsible For The Normal Wear And Tear Of The Works Produced, For Each Part Of The Works, Starting From The Date Of Commencement Of Use Of The Parts
