The Logistics Department Of The Defense Forces (Hereafter Procurement Unit) Is Planning To Tender The Contract For Fiber Construction Contracts And The Maintenance Of The Cable Network (E.G. Repair And Modification Works). Fiber Construction And Maintenance Are Mainly Carried Out In Areas Managed By The Defense Forces, Such As Garrison And Training Areas. Maintenance Work Also Includes The Installation Of Copper Cables. A List Of The Locations Of The Offices Of The Defense Forces Is Available On The Internet At Www.Puolustusvoimat.Fi. Fiber Construction Can Also Include, To A Small Extent, The Installation Of A Water Supply Cable. Based On The Contract, The Defense Forces Can Also Order Only Cable Route Planning Services If They Wish. The Planned Contract Period Is 1/1/2027 - 31/12/2030. Market Surveying As Part Of The Procurement Planning, The Procurement Unit Will Carry Out A Market Survey In Accordance With Section 65, Subsection 3 Of The Public Procurement And Concessions Act (1397/2016, Later Procurement Act). Publication Of The Market Survey Does Not Obligate The Procurement Unit To Carry Out The Actual Procurement Or To Carry Out The Procurement As Described In The Market Survey. The Procurement Unit Does Not Undertake To Take Into Account All The Answers Given In The Market Survey. The Procurement Unit Uses The Given Answers At Its Discretion. Not Responding To The Market Survey Does Not Prevent Participation In A Possible Tender, And Responding To The Market Survey Or Possible Participation In Different Events Does Not In Any Way Affect The Bidders Position In The Actual Tender. No Compensation Is Paid For Answering The Market Survey Or Participating In Other Procedures.
