Architectural, Construction, Engineering And Inspection Services – Bav 71084 Vbz-Areal Luggwegstrasse, Machbarkeitsstudie, Generalplanung. Subject And Scope Of The Contract This Tender Is Looking For A General Planning Team That Will Examine The Feasibility Of Sub-Project 3B And Finally Combine The Results In A Master Plan For The Entire Area. The Vbz Area On Luggwegstrasse Forms A Central Pillar Of Zurichs Tram Infrastructure And Fulfills A Strategically Important Function As A Workshop And Operating Location. The Existing Buildings From The 1970S And 1990S Are In Significant Need Of Repair And Adaptation. At The Same Time, Operational Requirements Are Increasing As The Fleet Expands And The Upcoming Revision Cycles. In Order To Ensure Future Performance, The Location Is To Be Modernized In Stages And Expanded To Include Additional Depot And Inspection Capacities. This Creates A Robust, Sustainable Infrastructure Area With Long-Term Usage Prospects. The Zurich Transport Authority (Vbz) And The Office For Building Construction (Ahb) Carried Out A Planner Election Process In 2021/22 To Appoint A General Planning Team To Develop Strategic Planning And Feasibility Studies Of The Vbz Area On Luggwegstrasse In Zurich-Altstetten And Other Areas. The Aim Of These Investigations Was To Determine The Future Development Steps Of The Vbz On The Site.
