Request for proposals for Production of a Political/Public Affairs Podcast Series Closing Date: Tuesday, 28. Jul 2026 Intervention Sector(s): Communications & Media 1. Background The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) Lebanon and Syria seeks to produce a high-quality podcast series that contributes to informed public debate by creating accessible discussions on politics, governance, public policy, civic engagement, media, and current affairs in Lebanon and the wider region. The podcast should provide audiences with insightful conversations that promote critical thinking, liberal democratic values, and constructive dialogue while remaining independent, evidence-based, and engaging. FNF is inviting proposals from qualified production companies, media organizations, podcast studios, or independent producers to conceptualize, produce, record, edit, and distribute the podcast. 2. Objective The objective is to produce a recurring podcast series that: Promotes informed discussion on public affairs and governance. Makes complex political issues accessible to wider audiences. Encourages critical thinking and constructive dialogue. Produces high-quality audio and video content suitable for multiple digital platforms. 3. Scope of Services The selected service provider will be responsible for: A. Editorial Development Develop the podcast concept and format. Propose branding and visual identity. Prepare episode outlines together with FNF. Coordinate guest invitations in consultation with FNF. Conduct editorial research and briefing. B. Production Provide a professional recording studio or equivalent setup. Supply all necessary recording equipment. Record high-quality audio and video. Provide production staff during recording sessions. C. Post Production Audio editing. Video editing. Color correction. Audio mastering. Graphic elements and intro/outro. Subtitle generation (English and/or Arabic where applicable). Thumbnail design. D. Digital Content For each episode produce: One full-length video. 5 to 10 short clips optimized for social media. Episode artwork. Social media captions (optional). E. Distribution Support Support publication on: YouTube Other podcast platforms Social media platforms 4. Deliverables Indicative deliverables include: Podcast concept and branding. Production schedule. Recording of approximately 10-12 Episodes. Final edited podcast episodes. Short promotional clips. Graphic assets. Final archive of all project files. 5. Technical Requirements The provider should demonstrate: Experience producing podcasts or talk-show formats. Professional audio and video production capabilities. Multi-camera recording. Professional lighting. High-quality sound recording. Editing capacity. Ability to meet production timelines. 6. Duration The assignment is expected to run over approximately 4 months, depending on the production schedule. 7. Proposal Requirements Interested applicants should submit: Company profile.
