The Palestinian Food And Agriculture Industries Union (Pfaiu), Representing Over 120 Food Companies Across Palestine, Is Partnering With Undp/Papp Under The Economic Resilience Programme (Erp) West Bank Component To Strengthen Msme Competitiveness And Improve The Business Enabling Environment. Product Information Remains Fragmented Across Different Institutions And Stakeholders, Limiting Market Visibility, Reducing Consumer Awareness, Constraining Export Opportunities, And Making It Difficult For Public Institutions To Access Reliable Sector Data. The Palestinian Food And Agriculture Industries Union (Pfaiu), Seeks To Establish A National Palestinian Food Products Platform That Serves As The Official National Reference For Palestinian Food Products And Food Manufacturers. The Platform Will Support Digital Transformation, Market Access, Consumer Awareness, Export Promotion, Sector Analysis, And Evidence-Based Decision-Making. Objective Of The Assignment: To Design, Develop, Populate Comprehensive, , And Operational National Palestinian Food Products Platform Covering All Palestinian Food And Industrial Products (Fruit/Vegetable Processing, Canning, Drying, Freezing, Juice/Pulp, Herbs, Dairy, Processed Goods, Etc.), Based On Primary Data Collection From Every Eligible Food Industry Enterprise In The West Bank (And Gaza If Accessible), He Platform Shall Provide Public Access To Product Information While Enabling Authorized Companies And Organizations To Continuously Update And Manage Their Own Data Through A Secure Digital Interface. Scope Of Work And Key Responsibilities: Under The Overall Guidance Of Pfaiu, The Consultant Shall Carry Out The Following Tasks: Task 1: Data Collection On All National Food Industries Products: Full Enumeration And Data Collection From All National Food Industries. A Verified Digital Database With Company Profiles, Product Specifications, Certifications, And Compliance Information. Verified Palestinian Product Tagging And Qr Code Readiness. A Scalable, Mobile Friendly Platform That Can Be Used For Future Consumer Campaigns. Positioning Pfaiu As The National Reference For Food Industry Data Data To Be Collected Per Enterprise: Company Profile (Legal Name, Registration Number, Location, Ownership, Contact Information, Number Of Employees, Quality Certifications, Export). Product Catalog (Product Names, Categories, SubSectors, Product Description, Shelf Life, Storage Requirements, Barcode (If Available)). Certifications And Compliance (Health Permits, Quality Certifications, Organic, Food Safety). Distribution Channels (Local, Regional, Export; Wholesale, Retail, Direct, Export Destination Countries). Traditional And Heritage Food Products Module (Cooperatives) Task 2: Data Verification Mechanism: Establish A Verification Protocol In Coordination With Pfaiu, Ministry Of Industries. Task 4: Data Population And Hosting: Populate The Database With All Verified Data Collected Host The Database On A PfaiuDesignated Server (Or Provide Full Installation Files). Ensure Data Can Be Exported In Csv, Excel, And Api Format For Future Campaign Use Task 5: Testing And Validation: End-User Feedback. Improve And Refine The System Based On The Feedback. Task 6: Training On System: Train The Beneficiary/Institution On The System. Develop A User Manual For The Platform. Develop An Interactive Gis Map Displaying: Food Manufacturers, Cooperatives, Associations, Product Distribution By Governorate, Export-Oriented Companies. Expected Impact: The Platform Will Serve As: The Official National Directory Of Palestinian Food Products. A Digital Promotion Tool For Palestinian Products. A Reliable Source Of Information For Consumers And Public Institutions. A Support Mechanism For Export Development. A National Repository For Traditional Palestinian Food Products. A Strategic Digital Asset For The Palestinian Food Industry Sector. Reporting: The Consultant Will Report To Pfaiu Team. Technical Coordination Will Be Maintained With Pfaiu. All Deliverables Are Subject To Pfaiu Approval. Duration Of Assignment: The Assignment Will Be Conducted Over 4 Calendar Months To Ensure Full Sector Coverage And Verification.
