Tenders are invited for Medical Ward Complex - Balance Work The Proposed Medical Ward Complex of District General Hospital. Chilaw is a Six storey building (G + 5) located in the Hospital Premises. Under the Contract. the balance work of the partially completed building should be completed, and the following works to be done. 1. Balance civil works 2. Interior finishes 3. Mechanical works, including air conditioning system, medical gas system, lifts, and fire protection & detection system 4. Electrical works 5. ELV works 6. WS & D works 7. External works 8. Other necessary works as mentioned in the Bidding document Works should be carried out while functioning the hospital. The Time for Completion for the Works shall be 728 Days. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the Additional Secretary (Procurement), Procurement Management Division, 2nd Floor, Ministry of Health & Mass Media, No.106, Dudley Senanayake Mawatha, Colombo 08. Telephone No. 011-2112713 fax 011-2112715, from 26-06-2026 until 12-08-2026 between 9.00hrs. and 1500hrs. upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Rupees Eighty Seven Thousand only (Rs.87,000.00). The method of payment shall be in cash. Sealed bids shall be delivered and deposited in original and duplicate in the Tender Box available at the address below to reach at or before lO.OOhrs. on 13-08-2026. Late Bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened soon after closing the bids, in the presence of the bidders representatives who choose to attend. Bids shall be valid form 13-08-2026 to 07-01-2027 (up to 147 Days from closing of Bid) All bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security, which shall be in the form included in the Section 11 in the Bidding Document, issued in favour of Secretary, Ministry of Health & Mass Media, 385, Yen. Baddegama Wimalawansa Thero Mawatha, Colombo 10, for an amount of Rupees Twelve Million Five Hundred Sixty Seven Thousand only (Rs. 12,567,000.00) issued by a local commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka which is operating in Sri Lanka.
