Tenders are invited for Providing Hostel Facilities (Design & Build) for University Students Hostel Building for 400 Female Students for University of Sri Jayewardenepura, Gangodawila, Nugegoda Total Construction Cost is LKR 462.50 million (excluding VAT) and the Construction period is 12 Calendar Months. Procurement method is National Competitive Bidding Procedure and the Contract type is Design & Build. Bids should be submitted on the forms which could be purchased from the Vice Chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura between 9.00 a.m. and 2.30 p.m. on working days from 26.06.2026 up to 16.07.2026 on the submission of the receipt for a non-refundable payment of LKR 60,000.00 to the Shroff of the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. The eligible bidders shall comply with Grade C2 or above in CIDA registration in Building Construction. Bidding documents may be inspected free of charge at the Deputy Registrar, Capital Works & Planning Division, University of Sri Jayewardenepura during office hours on working days. Bid shall be valid up to 13.11.2026. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of LKR 4,625,000.00 which should be in favor of Vice Chancellor, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, obtained either from a Commercial Bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka valid up to 11.12.2026. The bid security should be on demand and unconditional and on the format given in the bidding document. Pre-Bid meeting will be held on 06.07.2026 at 10.00 a.m. at the Old Board Room, Administration Building, University of Sri Jayewardenepura. Sealed bids with a duplicate copy shall be deposited in the Tender Box at the office of the Director (Infrastructure Development), Procurement Division, Higher Education Division, Ministry of Education, No.18, Ward Place, Colombo 07.
