Conversion And Renovation Of The Secondary Clarification Tanks 1-4 At The Lippeverbands Hamm-West Sewage Treatment Plant, The Existing Secondary Clarification Tanks (Short “Nkb 1-4”) Are Being Upgraded. There Are Four Rectangular Secondary Clarifiers (Width Approx. 25 M, Length Approx. 50 M) With Suction Scrapers For Bottom Sludge Clearing. Floating Sludge Is Cleared Using Floating Sludge Shields And Collected In A Collection Shaft And Vacuumed Off Regularly. The Clear Water Flows Laterally Via Drain Channels (With Serrated Weirs) Into A Drain Channel Arranged At The Front. The Return Sludge (Rls), Which Was Conveyed By The Scrapers, Flows To The Return Sludge Pumping Station Via Central Return Sludge Troughs (Rls Trough). There Are Shut-Off Gates In The Rls Channel To Control The Flow Of The Rls. ------------------------------------------ New Construction Of Secondary Clarification Tank 5 A New Secondary Clarification Treatment Plant Is Being Built At The Lippeverbands Hamm-West Sewage Treatment Plant. The Reason For The New Building Are Problems With Sludge Levels And The Threat Of Sludge Drift In The Secondary Clarification Tanks 1-4, The Inability To Provide Static Proof Of The Clarification Technology And The Need For Decommissioning For A Conversion. In Order To Ensure Effective And Trouble-Free Operation Of The 4Th Cleaning Stage, The Separation Performance In The Secondary Clarification Tanks Should Be Improved As Much As Possible. For This Purpose, The Construction Of Another Secondary Clarification Tank Including The Necessary Ancillary Structures For Process Engineering Integration Into The Existing Structure Is Intended.
