Construction Work For Water Projects – Improvement Of The Sea Channel To Inkoon, Ku. The Contract Is A Total Price Total Contract (Ku). The Project Includes Two Different Contracts: Contract 1 And Contract 2. Contract 2 Is Divided Into Contract Part A (Inko Sea Channel) And Contract Part B (Koverhar Sea Channel). The Project Includes Dredging, Filling And Excavation Works, As Well As Changes To The Safety Devices Related To The Fairway Markings. Contract 1: In Contract 1, The Front Of The Ports New Wharf And The New Channel Area Will Be Deepened To Match The Design Depth Of 13 M. The Works Include Approximately 70,000 Cubic Meters Of Dredging And Underwater Mining. Part Of The Land To Be Dredged Is Unfit For Sea Disposal, Which Is Dredged Using Separate Technology And Deposited In A Pool To Be Built In The Port Area For Further Processing. Contract 2 A: Contract 2 A Involves The Improvement Of The 13-Meter Sea Channel Leading To The Port Of Inko By Widening The Channel Area At The End Of The Port. There Is A Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (Lng) Terminal In The Port, And The Widening Of The Fairway Enables Ships To Arrive And Leave The Port More Safely. The Widening Of The Fairway Includes Dredging About 200,000 Cubic Meters, Which Will Be Deposited In The Sea Deposit Area Off Inkoo. A Small Part Of The Land To Be Dredged Is Unsuitable For Sea Disposal, Which Is Dredged Using A Separate Technique And Deposited In A Pool To Be Built In The Port Area For Further Processing. Widening The Fairway Area Enables Ships To Arrive And Leave The Port More Safely. Contract 2 B: In Contract 2 B, The Koverhar/Lappohja Fairway Will Be Deepened From 12 Meters To A Design Depth Of 14 Meters. The Work Includes Dredging The Channel And Excavation Of Underwater Rock. Cohesive Soil Types Suitable For Sea Spreading (Clay, Silt) Are Spread In The Sea Spreading Area Located On The Hanko Channel. The Work Sites Under The Finnish Railways Agencys Area Of Responsibility Are Divided Into A Total Of 6 Dredging Sites (Rk1c, Rk2a, Rk2b, Rk3, Rk4 And Rk5 (Option)). There Will Be No Changes To The Fairway Markings On The Koverhar Fairway Section, And The 14 M Dimensioning Depth/ Hs -15.4 M N2000 Will Still Be Put Into Use At This Stage (Will Be Put Into Use Only When The Port Of Hanko Has Completed Its Own Work, Which Is Being Carried Out As A Separate Contractor). The Hanko Port Works Rk 1A, Rk 1B Presented In The Construction Plans Are Not Part Of The Contract. Rk 5 Is Implemented As An Option. The Contract Includes The Entire Set With All Arrangements, Equipment And Devices Defined In The Contract Documents. A More Detailed Description Can Be Found In The Tender Documents.
