Tenders Are Invited For Building Construction Work – Vbs Verkehrsbetriebe Schussental Gmbh & Co. Kg Awarding Of Planning And Construction Services For The New Construction Of A Charging Park At The Bus Depot
Building Construction Work – Vbs Verkehrsbetriebe Schussental Gmbh & Co. Kg Awarding Of Planning And Construction Services For The New Construction Of A Charging Park At The Bus Depot. Vbs Verkehrsbetriebe Schussental Gmbh & Co. Kg (Hereinafter Vbs) Intend To Expand The Charging Infrastructure By Building A New Charging Park At The Bus Depot As An Extension Of The Existing Bus Depot In Ravensburg. The Aim Is To Build A Central, Electrified Bus Operation That Creates A Future-Proof And Sustainable Basis For Local Public Transport. The Focus Is On Reliably Supplying A Growing Number Of Electric Buses With The Necessary Charging Infrastructure, Energy Cycle, Storage, Photovoltaic System And Operating Technology. In Addition To Its Own Vehicle Fleet, The System Will Also Offer The Possibility Of Supplying Electric Buses From Other Transport Companies. In Order To Achieve The Desired Goal Of Central, Electrified Bus Operation, Several Strategic And Infrastructural Requirements Must Be Met. A Central Prerequisite Is Ensuring The Operational Handling Of Future City Traffic, Both In Terms Of Vehicle Logistics And Charging Infrastructure. With The Expected Increase In The Bus Fleet As A Result Of Electrification, The Need For Additional Operating Staff As Well As Expanded Parking And Charging Capacities Will Also Increase. In Order To Ensure The Necessary Space Requirements, It Has Been Decided To Lease The Neighboring Property. This Expansion Forms The Basis For The Spatial Integration Of Additional Charging Points, Parking Areas And Other Operationally Necessary Facilities. At The Same Time, The Requirements Of The Eu-Wide Clean Vehicle Directive Must Be Taken Into Account And Consistently Implemented. This Prescribes Binding Quotas For The Use Of Low-Emission And Zero-Emission Vehicles In Public Transport And Thus Makes Comprehensive Electrification Of The Bus Fleet Unavoidable. The Bus Depot Is Intended To Be An Extension Of The Existing Depot On This Leased Area. According To Current Planning, The Vbs Assumes Provisional Billable Manufacturing Costs Totaling Around Eur 17 Million Net. Funding From The Public Transport Funding Program In Accordance With Section 5 Of The State Municipal Financing Act (Lgvfg) Is Expected To Be Available For The Measure. The Depot Will Have A Usable Area Of Approximately 10,825 M². The Depot Is Divided Into Different Functional Areas. These Include: - Traffic Facilities (Access Areas, Parking Spaces For Buses, Parking Spaces For Cars) - Covered Parking Facilities For The Majority Of Vehicles (Max. Number Of Vehicles In The Available Areas While Maintaining The Necessary Maneuvering Areas And Other Traffic Areas) For Fire Protection Reasons, A Structural Separation Between The Parking Facilities And The Roofing Is Considered Sensible. - Additional Parking Spaces For Buses That Should Not Be Covered. - Some Of The Parking Spaces Should Be Provided With Charging Infrastructure (Dc Charging).
