The City Of Pieksämäki Requests Binding Written Bids In Accordance With The Procurement Notice Published In The Hilma Notification Channel For The Construction Of Pieksänjärvi Bottom Dam 618882 / 2026 Procurement, Which Will Be Used By The City Of Pieksämäki, As Presented In This Request For Tenders. The Purpose Of The Procurement Is To Build A Bottom Dam In Pieksämäkis Pieksänjärvi. The Acquisition Includes The Demolition Of The Current Regulation Dam And The Construction Of A New Bottom Dam In Pieksänjärvi. The Starting Point Of The Work Is The Replacement Of The Pieksänjärvi Regulation Dam With A Bottom Dam In Such A Way That It Does Not Change The Mean Water Level Of The Lake, And The Measure Should Not Have Significant Effects On The Kirkko-Surnui Natura Area. Also, The Flood Height Should Not Rise From Its Current Level. The Goal Of The Project Is Also To Waive The Obligation To Maintain The Dam And To Expire The Previous Permits Related To It, As Well As To Remove The Structure That Causes Harm To The Use Of The Water Body And The Environment. The Tenderer Must Show How The Upper Surface Of The Dam Is Cut So That The Dam Structure Below, Which Remains In The Future Structure, Is Not Damaged. Plan Drafts And Alternatives Have Been Examined At The Projects Steering Group Meeting (April 26, 2023), Where The Benefits To Be Achieved With Different Alternatives And Their Preliminary Costs Were Reviewed. An Open Public Event Aimed At Local Residents, Owners Of Land And Water Areas Was Held On August 16, 2023 In Pieksämäki. The Aim Of The Event Was To Discuss The Stages Of The Dam Demolition Project, Permits, Boundary Conditions And The Effects Of Water Level Changes. The Project Has Been Financed By The City Of Pieksämäki And It Has Received A Grant From The Ely Center Of Etelä-Savo.
