The Koningswei Project Concerns The Transformation Of The Current Koningsplein — Including The Anna Paulownahof — In The Center Of Tilburg Into A Green, Climate-Adaptive Residential Environment. The Predominantly Stony Square Will Be Redesigned As A Roof Garden On The Deck Of The Existing Koningsplein Parking Garage. The Project Area Forms A Green Connection Between The Core Shopping Area, The Piushaven And The Oude Dijk City Park, And Is Part Of A Broader Urban Development In Which Developers Are Realizing New Residential And Catering Buildings On The Eastern Flank Of The Plan Area. The Contract Includes Two Phases That Are Tendered In Conjunction: Phase 1 — Construction Team Phase (Services); Phase 2 — Realization And Maintenance Phase (Works). The Core Of The Assignment Lies In The Roof Garden: Construction Of A Park On The Deck Of The Existing Parking Garage, Equipped With Trees (In Tree Bunkers) That Require A Preparation Process, Shrubs, Perennials, A Water Retention And Infiltration System, A Buffer Tank For Irrigation, Permanent And Temporary Paving, Rainwater Drainage, Adjustment Of The Existing Pergola. The Structural Possibilities And Watertightness Of The Existing Parking Deck Form A Strict Design Precondition. In The Construction Team Phase, The Contractor Is Explicitly Expected To Provide Technical Added Value In The Areas Of Feasibility, Phasing, Cost Control And Environmental Management In A Highly Urban Context. The Contractor Also Acts As H&S Coordinator For The Design Phase And Has A Coordination Obligation Towards The Entire Construction Team, The Tree Supplier(S) And Subsidiary Contractors For Public Lighting. The Assignment Has The Following Estimated Size: Total Area: 12,000 M2 Roof Garden Area: 8,000 M2 The Contracting Authority Estimates The Construction Team Phase At A Contract Value Of Approximately € 180,000 Excluding Vat. The Target Budget For The Realization (Including A 2-Year Maintenance Period After Delivery) Is € 5,200,000 Excluding Vat. No Rights Can Be Derived From These Amounts.
