The Republic of Mozambique has received financing from the African Development Fund (Bank) and the European Union hereinafter called the Bank and the EU toward the cost of the SADC Sub Regional Transport and Trade Facilitation Project: Rehabilitation and Upgrading of R1251 Road Section of 59 km between Mueda and Nambungale including construction of 5.4 km of the Mueda Town Bypass in Cabo Delgado Province, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contracts for Construction of Primary Schools and a Secondary School in five (05) Communities along the N381 Road between Mueda and Ngapa, in the District of Mueda as part of the social inclusion programme. For this contract, the Borrower shall process the payments using the Direct Payment disbursement method, as defined in the Banks Disbursement Guidelines and procedures for Investment Project Financing. The National Roads Administration as Administração Nacional de Estradas, Instituto Público (ANE, IP), the Executing Agency now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Construction of Primary Schools and a Secondary School in five (05) Communities along the N381 Road between Mueda and Ngapa, in the District of Mueda, as follow Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified in in the African Development Banks Procurement Policy for Bank Group-Funded Operations dated October 2015, which are available on the Banks website at http://www.afdb.org/en/projectsand-operations/procurement/new-procurement-policy and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Framework. 4. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the National Roads Administration and inspect the Bidding document during office hours 07h30 to 15h30 hours (local time) at the address given below. A Site Visit shall be conducted by the Employer on 01st July 2026 starting at 9:00 a.m. hours (local Time).
