The City Of Turkus Procurement Services Is Requesting An Offer For The Procurement Of A Fleet Tracking System, An Electronic Driving Logbook, And A Transport Order System For Use By The Turku Vocational Institute For The Period 1 September 2026 (Target) - 31 August 2028, After Which The Contract Can Be Extended By The Customers Decision Under The Original Terms With A Two (2) Year Option For The Period 1 September 2028 - 31 August 2030. The Aim Is To Support And Enhance The Teaching Activities Of The Turku Vocational Institute (Tai) And The Use And Monitoring Of Vehicles, As Well As To Ensure The Fulfillment Of Driving Logbook Obligations Electronically. With The Help Of The Service, The Utilization Rate Of The Fleet Is Improved, Manual Work Is Reduced, And Legal Obligations Are Met And Operational Transparency And Safety Are Increased. The Transport Order System And Mobile Devices Enable The Use Of A System Corresponding To Working Life As Part Of Logistics Education. The Equipment And System Are Used Both In Teaching Activities And During Staff Working Hours. The Service Must Be Suitable For A Multi-User Environment Where Vehicles Are Used By Students, Teaching Staff And Other Personnel For Different Purposes. Use Is Based On Roles And Access Rights That Define The Users Functionality In The System. The Service Is Mainly Used By:• Tai Staff, Especially Teachers, Responsible For Planning Transport And Equipment (Estimated Main Users Are 30 People)• Tai Students, As Part Of Teaching And Practicing The Use Of Vehicles Under The Guidance Of The Teacher. Heavy Equipment And Work Machines). In Addition, The Functions Of The Transportation Order System And The Mobile Devices Used In It Will Be Used In Approximately 30 Educational Institutions Vehicles. Vehicle Quantities And Requirements:• About 30 Vehicles Need A Tracking System And Electronic Driving Log And Identification.• In Addition, 30 Vehicles Need A Tracking System, Electronic Driving Log, Identification And Transportation Ordering System, And Mobile Devices. Please Note: The Indicated Quantities Are The Customers Estimates And Do Not Bind The Customer During The Contract Period. The Number Of Users And The Number Of Vehicles May Vary During The Contract Period. The Service Must Be Browser-Based, Comply With Information Security Requirements And Enable Role-Based Use. The Procurement Includes The Implementation Of The System, The Installation Of The Devices And Trainings For Each User Group. An Option In This Procurement Is The Expansion Of The Implementation Of The Fleet Tracking Solution To The Management Of The Vehicles Of The City Of Turku And/Or The Expansion Of The Use Of The Electronic Driving Logbook. However, The City Does Not Commit To Using The Option And The City Has The Right To Obtain A Similar Solution Without Using The Option.
