Floodgates – Tender For The Procurement Of Mobile Damming Equipment. General The Ministry Of Defences Material And Procurement Agency Wishes To Enter Into A Framework Agreement Regarding The Acquisition Of Mobile Dam Material In The Form Of Free-Standing Flood Barriers, As Well As Their Maintenance, For Use By The Emergency Management Agency And The Danish Municipal Rescue Services. The Acquisition Of Mobile Damming Equipment Is Primarily Intended To Be Part Of The Emergency Management Agencys And The Municipal Emergency Services Emergency Handling Of Climate Events, Including In Connection With Notifications Of Increased Water Levels; Hinterland Water As Well As Sea Water, As Well As In The Event Of Major Fires. The Mobile Dam Equipment Must Both Be Used Independently In Connection With The Handling Of E.G. Climate Events, Just As It Must Be Included As A Supplement To The Emergency Management Agencys And The Municipal Emergency Services Existing Damming Equipment. Concept And Application It Is Essential That The Mobile Dam Material Allows Fast, Easy And Efficient Transport, Establishment And Dismantling, Including That The Handling Can Be Done Using The Least Possible Resources And In Terms Of The Working Environment. It Is Assumed That The Mobile Dam Material Can Be Used Several Times. The Mobile Dams Must Be Able To Be Used In The Event Of Extraordinary Water Level Rises Over Varying Stretches, For The Protection Of Individual Objects (E.G. Critical Infrastructure), As Well As As A Water Reservoir In Connection With Major Fire Operations, And Must Therefore Be Able To Be Established Quickly And Flexibly Over Varying Stretches. The Mobile Dam Material Must Consist Of L-Shaped Slabs In One Piece, Designed As Straight Pieces, As Well As Corner Pieces In Different Variations, Both Inward And Outward Facing, Which Allow The Dam Material To Withstand Rises In Water Levels In An Urban Environment, Including E.G. House Corners, Following Bends In Roads As Well As Setting Up Around Objects, E.G. Critical Infrastructure, Etc. The Mobile Dam Material Will Be Stored In Stock And Transported To The Intervention Areas By Truck. Loading And Unloading Of The Mobile Dam Material Is Done With A Truck, Which Is Why The Dam Must Be Able To Be Stored And Transported On Pallets Or In Transport Boxes. The Mobile Dam Material Is Primarily Procured At The Height That Appears In Appendix 1 Requirements Specification, Requirement No. 6. As Areas Of Intervention Can Vary In Nature And Requirements For Dam Height, It Is Also Desired To Offer Dam Elements In Other Heights, Which Enable Adaptation To Areas With A Need For Lower Or Higher Dams, Respectively.
