Tenders are invited for Supply of Five (05) Nos. Diesel Multiple Units for Sri Lanka Railways. The Complete set of Bidding Documents in English Language may be purchased, by interested bidders on the submission of a written request to the address above from 08/06/2026 to 20/07/2026 up to 3.00 PM or from Sri Lanka Missions abroad till 20/07/2026 up to 3.00 PM (Sri Lanka Time) on payment of a non-refundable procurement fee of Rs.500,000.00 only or an equivalent sum in a freely convertible currency. The Bidder shall submit documentary evidences in proof of ability and capability, as given in the Section 3.2.2 Contractual & Technical Experience of Bidding Document. Bid Shall be valid until 12/01/2027 (175 days from the date of bid opening). The Bidder shall furnish a bid security in the amount of USD 660,000 or equivalent amount in Sri Lankan currency or in any freely convertible currencies in the form of bank guarantee from a local bank or internationally reputed bank counter guaranteed by a bank operating in Sri Lanka, approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. Pre-Bid meeting will be held at 10.00 am on 23/06/2026 at the office of Secretary, Ministry of Transport, Highways and Urban Development, 7th floor, Sethsiripaya Stage II, Baththaramulla, Sri Lanka. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before 02.00 PM on 21/07/2026 and the bids shall be opened immediately after closing of the bids.
