Technical Assistance Services – Technical Assistance To The Dgpc In Support Of The Road Modernization I & Ii Program (Tunisia). As Part Of The Framework Loan For The Financing Of The Road Modernization Project Ii (Mrii) Concerning The Improvement Of Urban Road Infrastructure Equipment In Tunisia, The Directorate General Of Bridges And Roads (Dgpc) Created A Project Management Unit (Pmu) Responsible For Implementing The Mrii Project, Mainly, But Also Two Other Projects Financed By The Eib, Now Completed. The General Objective Of The Project Of Which This Contract Is Part Is To Monitor The Implementation Of The Mrii Project By A Team Of Consultants With Experience In The Implementation Of Road Projects, This Including A Continuation Of The Capacity Building Of The Pmu. The Main Objective Of The Technical Assistance Mission Will Be To Optimize The Services Of The Pmu As Part Of The Monitoring Of The Mrii Project, With Particular Attention To Environmental And Social Aspects, The Management Of Hygiene, Safety And Health (Hss) On Construction Sites, As Well As Road Safety During The Implementation Phase Of The Projects, In Accordance With The Environmental And Social Requirements Of The Bank.
