Additional Investigations, The Creation Of A Renovation Concept And Detailed Planning As Well As Subsequent Renovation Measures Are To Be Carried Out On A Total Area Of Around 17,700 M2 Of A Former Primer Factory In Leverkusen-Küppersteg, Which Is Built With Residential Buildings. The Built-Up Area Belonged To The Western Edge Of The Former Premises Of The Rheinische Explosive Caps And Primer Factory And Was Only Used As A Storage Area During The Operating Period. Due To Locally Elevated Levels Of Mercury And, To A Lesser Extent, Lead, Arsenic, Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (Pahs) And Polychlorinated Biphenyls (Pcbs), Soil Remediation Of The Green Areas Between The Apartment Blocks Is Necessary.
