Supply Of water cooled jacket (tubular) , water cooled jacket (tubular) for electric arc furnaces to rwf drawing n o.731200112140 & as per special conditions i) pre-qualification for manufacture and sup ply of water cooled jacket (tubular).a) only manufacturers of electric arc furnaces o r their sub contractors who manufacture structurals for oems of electric arc furna ces/heavy duty industrial boilers shall quote. b)the required raw materials shall be pr ocured from reputed sources such as m/s. sail, tisco, isp&t etc.and they should furnis h references for purchase. c) qualified welders should be engaged for fabrication.d ) the detailed qap as enclosed ii) special condition:- 1. scope of work:-fabrication and te sting of water cooled jacket (tubular) manufacturing process:- a) submission of raw m aterial procurement invoices from reputed sources. b)selection of welding electrodes .c) marking, sizing and surface preparation.d)welding of members by qualified welders. e) stress relieving, time temperature graph shall be enclosed. f)non- destructive testin g of weldments. g)pressure testing shall be done at 10kg/cm2 for two hours and the w ater cooled jacket shall be free from water leakage. h) painting of water cooled jacke t by one coat of red oxide paint followed by two coats of heat resistant aluminium pai nt. i)dispatch of water cooled jacket (tubular) with suitable packing to avoid damage d uring transit. iii) inspection by m/s. tpi. stage inspection: by tpi to check all the tubes pr ocured for fabrication of water cooled jacket (tubular) for od, id, thickness and the dimensions of fitted forged quality end caps as per drawing. tpi should ensure that on ly such inspected tubes and end caps are used while inspection the water cooled jacke t(tubular). the water cooled jacket (tubular) shall be subjected to joint inspection for hydraulic test at firms premises ]
