Tenders Are Invited For Laundry - Linen Scope Of Supply /Services No. Description 1. Collect The Laundry From The Durban Icc Premises 2. Utilise A Control Sheet To Ensure All Laundry Uplifted Is Properly Recorded For Tracking Purposes. 3. Due To The Nature Of Our Industry, The Items To Be Washed Will Be Subjected To Dirt, Grime, Oil, Food Stains Etc. 4. The Laundry Must Be Washed At The Service ProviderS Premises Using Sabs Approved Chemicals. 5. The Chemicals Must Further Be Endorsed For Use In The Catering Industry To Prevent Cross- Contamination With Food. 6. The Laundry Once Washed Must Thereafter Be Ironed, Placed On Individual Hangers And Covered With Plastic, Prior To Delivery. 7. Quality Control Inspections Must Be Undertaken By The Service Provider To Ensure There Is No Damages To The Laundry Items. 8. The Laundry Must Be Delivered To The Icc Premises Once All Of The Above Processes Have Been Completed, Within 24 Hours From Date Of Collection, Monday To Friday. 9. A Reconciliation Must Be Done To Ensure There Is No Discrepancy Between Uplifted And Returned Laundry Items. 10. The Service Provider Must Ensure That Theyhave Adequate Equipment And Staff On Site To Ensure The 24-Hour Turnaround Time Is Adhered To. 11. During Peak Periods, Each Batch May Comprise Of Approximately 600+ Different Laundry Items, While Off-Peak Periods May Range From 300+ Onwards. Please Refer To The Compulsory Pricing Schedule For A Detailed List Of Laundry Items. . Mandatory Requirements Please Acknowledge If You Comply / Do Not Comply With The Mandatory Requirements, As Illustrated Below: Yes No X 1. The Service Provider Must Be Compliant With The Bargaining Council For The Laundry Cleaning And Dyeing Industry. Please Attach Proof Of Valid Certificate. 2. The Service Provider Must Have Minimum Three (3) Years Requisite Experience Performing Laundry Services For The Hospitality And Catering Industry. Please Attach Minimum One Detailed Reference From Client Serviced. The Elements Of An Acceptable Reference Are Detailed Below. It Is Advisable To Ensure That The References Submitted Are In Line With The Below Requirements. Details Of Client (Name And Contact) For Third Party Confirmation Purposes. Scope Of Works Performed For The Client. Should The Reference Submitted By The Service Provider Exclude One Or More Of The Mandatory Elements, It Will Be Deemed Insufficiently Detailed For The Purposes Of The Evaluation. 3.
