Technical Services – Frankenthal City Clinic - Modernization & Conversion Of The Main Building (Partial Areas / Complete Floors) Ba 2 And 3, Medical Technology. The Frankenthal City Clinic Is A Standard Care Hospital With 310 Beds (Hospital Plan Of The State Of Rhineland-Palatinate 2019 - 2025). The City Clinic Was Built At The End Of The 1970S And Some Areas Were Modernized And Converted. Structurally, The Building Is Divided Into 8 Components, The Separation Of Which Is Marked By Rows Of Double Columns. The Gross Floor Area Of The Main House Is Approximately 28,000 M² (27,995). The Floors Are Staggered (Set Back) Several Times. The Building Consists Of 2 Basement Floors, The 2Nd Basement Exclusively Covers The Central Heating, Plumbing/Fire Extinguishing Technology, Medical Gases And Ventilation. Heating And Ventilation Centers Have Two Floors, Some With A Solid False Ceiling And Others With A Grating Level. There Are Underground Car Parks With A Central Exhaust System In The 1St Basement. Diagnostics, Therapy And Care Areas Are Located On The 1St To 6Th Floors. On The Ground Floor There Is Administration, The Pharma-Medical Service Center, Supply And Disposal And The Main Entrance, And On The 1St Floor There Is The Emergency Room. The Operating Rooms Are On The 2Nd Floor, And There Is Also A Nursing Station. The Nursing Stations With Patient Rooms Are Located On The 3Rd To 6Th Floors. The Exhaust Air Control Center And Elevator Machine Rooms Are Located On The 7Th Floor. Between 2002 And 2018, Renovation Work Took Place In The Areas Of The Central Pharmacy (Ground Floor), Emergency Room (1St Floor), Sterile Goods Supply (Ground Floor), Operating Rooms (2Nd Floor), Intensive Care Unit (2Nd Floor) And Recovery Room (2Nd Floor). The Technical Renovation Of The Pipeline And Sewer System For All Media Was Carried Out To A Limited Extent Only For The Immediate Supply Of The Renovation Areas; Main Distribution Systems And Shafts Were Not Renovated. The Renewal Of The Production Systems For Heating (Boiler Systems, Chp), Wwb, Central Ventilation Devices Including Heat Recovery, Fire Extinguishing Technology (Separation From The Tkw Network) And Medical Gases (Breathing Air Treatment System And Replacement Of The Oxygen System) Has Been Completed. The Status Was Assessed As Part Of Performance Phase 2 By The Previously Active Specialist Planner. Just For Information: The New Building Was Connected To The Generator Systems For Heating, Wwb, Central Ventilation Units Including Hr, Fire Extinguishing Technology And Medical Gases. However, The Current Status Must Be Checked Again As Part Of Performance Phase 3. In Many Respects, The Clinic Does Not Have Sustainable Structures. These Should Be Counteracted By Developing A Spatial And Functional Program And Subsequent Target Planning For The Entire House. The Most Important Objectives Included: - Installation Of New Wet Rooms In The Entire Existing Care System - Merging Areas With The Same Form Of Therapy On One Level - Setting Up A Geriatric Care Station Including Therapy Areas Together With The Stroke Unit On One Level - Restructuring The Food Supply Concept And Expanding The Medication Supply - Review Of Possible Structural Optimizations And Synergies Across The Entire Building The Measure Is
