Scanning Services – Digitization Framework Agreement Berlin State Library - Lot 2 (Inventory Colonial Contexts). The Award Procedure Includes Two Lots: Digitization Of Monographs And Journals From The Sbb Inventory (Lot 1) And Digitization Of Monographs And Journals For The Inventory Of The Dfg-Funded Colonial Contexts Project (Lot 2). The Object Of The Service Is The Timely And Proper Scanning Of Monographs And Magazines For The Holdings Of The Dfg-Funded Colonial Contexts Project. The Service Includes The Creation Of Image Files As Well As The Creation Of Structural Data And Pagination For The Workflow Management System Kitodo.Production. The Service Is Carried Out In Batches Every Four Weeks With Collection From Sbb, Processing By The Contractor And Return Delivery Of The Inventory. The Duration Of The Project Is 2.5 Years With The Option To Extend Once By 1 Year. For The Intended Total Term Of The Framework Agreement Including The Extension Option, This Results In An Estimated Order Volume Of 11,000 Volumes With An Average Of 250 Pages = 2,750,000 Pages.
