Investments Of The Order Of Nok 45 Billion Are Expected In The Establishment Phase, Which Will Strengthen The Supplier Industry And Create Jobs In Related Sectors. Nordland County Council Wants To Strengthen The Knowledge Base In Order To Facilitate Increased Value Creation And Regional Ripple Effects Related To Offshore Aquaculture At Trænabanken. In Order To Achieve This, There Is A Need For A Comprehensive Survey Of Future Needs Within Infrastructure, Competence, Preparedness And The Development Of Relevant Value Chains In Nordland. The Purpose Of The Assignment Is To Carry Out A Survey That Identifies The Capacities The Region Has Today, And What Is Required To Handle Industrial Scaling, As Well As Identifying Challenges, Bottlenecks And Prioritized Measures For Further Development. The Mapping Will Provide A Knowledge Base For The County Council, Other Regional Actors And National Authorities In The Further Work.
