Tenders are invited for Consultancy Services and Supervision for Agriculture Drainage Network Development Works Tender Type: Public Tender Tender Description: Ministry of MUNICIPALITIES & Agriculture Affairs (MUN) intends to provide a proper Agriculture drainage network leading to outfalls on existing and roadside shoulder for new construction agriculture drainage networks projects built in the Kingdom. However, in the past, techniques such as localised networks, holding tanks, retention ponds etc used in many areas due to the absence of main lines for connections. It has been also observed that due to the rapid urbanisation and related land fill works, natural wadis and Agriculture drainage channels have been partially or fully blocked leading to localised flooding in several areas. These floodings are regular events causing property damage, inconvenience to public and heavy government expenditure for temporary remedial works.
