Mp27tfd007 Multiphase Development 2 - Kootenay Lake . The Proposed Contract Involves Delivering Multi Phase Block Assessment And Layout Services For The Development Of Approximately 100,000 M³ Of Timber Sale Licences Located Throughout The Kootenay Lake Operating Areas. While Most Development Activities Are Anticipated To Occur Within The North Kootenay Lake Operating Areas, Work Will Also Extend Into The South Kootenay Lake Regions. Interested Proponents Are Encouraged To Review The Kootenay Lake Operating Area Map To Familiarize Themselves With The Region Prior To Submitting A Proposal. The Contract Will Require A Diverse Team Of Qualified Professionals And Technical Staff Capable Of Working Under Various Conditions, Including Remote And Isolated Environments. Forest Development Tasks Will Include, But Are Not Limited To: Total Chance Planning, Block Planning, Block And Road Layout, Timber Cruising, Site Plans, And A Range Of Assessments (Including Block, Road, Bridge, Terrain, Windthrow, Stream, Wildlife, Visual, Wildfire Risk, And Climate Adaptation Assessments). Work Will Also Include Preparation Of Timber Sale Packages, Appraisals And Lrm Data Entry And Management. Some Assignments May Require Non Standard Silvicultural Prescriptions Such As Partial Cutting, Commercial Thinning, And Wildfire Resilience Treatment, Etc. Contract Deliverables Will Be Scheduled For Completion Throughout The Fiscal Year To Meet Quarterly Business Area Targets. Multiple Projects Will Be Undertaken Concurrently, Following The Approved Work Progress Plan And Schedules.
