Expression of Interest for Consultancy Services for a Senior Climate Change Consultant The UWI Mona, the Executing Agency, now wishes to procure consultancy services for a Senior Climate Change Consultant. The objective of this consultancy is to provide high-level climate change expertise to support the implementation of the Climate STRIDES Project, particularly as it relates to the preparation of the updated State of the Caribbean Climate (SOCC) Report, the technical content of the knowledge products associated with the SOCC as well as stakeholder engagement and capacity building activities. The assignment is expected to be completed over a period of 4 consecutive months. The UWI Mona now invites interested eligible individual consultants to submit Expressions of Interest, in the form of a Curriculum Vitae (CV) and cover letter, indicating their qualifications and experience to provide the consultancy services detailed in the attached Terms of Reference. Eligibility Consultants shall be eligible to participate if: 1. the persons are citizens or bona fide residents of an eligible country; and 2. in all cases, the consultant has no arrangement and undertakes not to make any arrangements, whereby any substantial part of the net profits or other tangible benefits of the contract will accrue or be paid to a person not a citizen or bona fide resident of an eligible country. Eligible countries include CDB member states and non-member states that meet the eligibility requirements for procurement under the European Union (EU)-funded programme. Consultants are advised to review the EU Eligibility Rules and the detailed eligibility criteria detailed in Section 4, as well as the conflict of interest provisions in Section 5 of the Procurement Procedures for Projects Financed by CDB (January 2021), available on CDBs website. In the assessment of submissions, consideration will be given to qualifications and experience on similar assignments. Instructions All information must be submitted in English.
