This Invitation To Tender Is Being Issued By The Health Organization For A Generalcontractor For The E252-00 Ubch Koerner Elevators 4-6 Upgrades. This Project Is Formodernization And Equipment Upgrades Of Ubc Hospital - Koerner Pavilion Elevators 4,5, 6. The Elevators Will Be Modernized Sequentially Starting With Elevator 6, Then 5 Whichare A Duplex Configuration And Subsequently Upon Completion Elevator 4. The Projectincludes Significant Infection Control Measures And Continuity Of Clinical Operationsrequiring An Experienced Qualified General Contractor And Sub-Contractors In Elevatormodernizations And Work In An Active Clinical And Surgical Hospital Environment. Elevators5 And 6 Servicing The North End Of The Hospital And Are The Primary Transport Elevators Forhospital Patients And Provide Access To The Mechanical Level On The Penthouse Of Thebuilding. The Work Will Include Management Of The Elevator Sub Trade As Well As Electrical,Mechanical, Telecom And It Wiring And May Include Minor Structural Work.
