Medical Equipments – Innovative Acquisition Of A Stool Capsule Machine. Hus (Later Also The Procurement Unit Or Customer) Requests Applications For Participation In The Innovative Procurement Of A Stool Capsule Machine. The Procurement Is Carried Out Using The Innovation Partnership Referred To In Sections 38–39 Of The Procurement Act. For A More Detailed Description, See Appendix 2 Description Of The Innovation Partnership Procedure. The Object Of The Acquisition Is The Development Of The Stool Capsule Machine And The Resulting Device, Possible Equipment-Related Consumables And Possible After-Sales Service. The Goal Of The Acquisition Is To Renew And Enhance The Current Faecal Transplant Treatment Process By Utilizing New Technology. The Current Treatment Process, I.E. Faecal Transplant Performed In Conjunction With Colonoscopy, Is Relatively Expensive And Burdensome For The Patient. If Implemented With Capsules, The Treatment Would Be Significantly Easier For The Patient And The Health Care System Than If Implemented Through Observation. With The Help Of The Innovation Partnership, The Goal Is To Develop A Stool Capsule Machine For This Need, Which The Procurement Unit Could Acquire From Its Partner During The Procurement Phase Of The Procedure. A More Detailed Description Of The Object Of Acquisition Is In Appendix 1 Description Of The Object Of Acquisition. The Customers Procurement Documents Related To The Procurement Are Available In Finnish. If The Company Wants The Procurement Documents In Another Language, The Translation And The Resulting Costs Are The Responsibility Of The Company Itself. The Application For Participation As Well As The Related Documentation And Clarifying Questions Must Be Submitted In Finnish. These Requirements Are Not Negotiated During The Procurement Process And Their Content Is Not Changed, But It Is Possible To Specify Them. In Other Respects, All The Attachments Listed Above Are The Views Of The Procurement Unit And The Documents Will Be Changed And Clarified During The Procurement Process. The Final Procurement Documents Are Defined In The Final Request For Tender.
