The Annual Provincial Aerial Overview Survey (Aos) Conducted By The B.C. Ministry Of Forests Consists Of Fixed-Wing Sketch Mapping At A Reconnaissance Level Of Detail Over The Province’S Entire Forested Land Base (Including Tree Farm Licenses (Tfls), Provincial Parks, Protected Areas And Private Land But Does Not Include National Parks).Surveying Is Completed By Aerial Overview Survey (Aos) Contractors Engaged By The Province In Each Forest Region (I.E., Cariboo, Kootenay Boundary, Thompson Okanagan, South And West Coast, Skeena, And Omineca And Northeast Regions). Program Coordination And Management Is Led By The Provincial Forest Entomologist (For) And Supported By The Aerial Overview Survey Monitor Contractor.The Contract Will Be For An 11-Month Term With The Option To Extend For Up To One Additional Year At The Province’S Sole Discretion.
